Tudor Ciambur



With over 10 years of industry experience across the full spectrum of real estate matters, Tudor is a Partner in the Real Estate practice area of Stratulat Albulescu Attorneys at Law.

Tudor assists clients in connection with a wide range of real estate matters, including acquisition and development of real estate, transaction structuring, lease agreements, due diligence, business takeover and joint ventures.

His expertise also includes urbanism and matters pertaining to permits for complex mixed-use projects, as well as in-depth knowledge of office, residential, retail and logistic businesses. Tudor has also assisted clients in connection with the development of large photovoltaic and wind parks.

Tudor has a sharp mind when it comes to the assessment of facts and issues, identification and mitigation of risks. He has a knack for spotting practical opportunities and is capable of coming up with tailored and creative legal solutions that add business value for his clients. With rigorous work ethic and highly developed communication and collaborative skills, he meets organisational objectives and exceeds expectations in all legal matters within his practice area.

Tudor has been a member of the Bucharest Bar and the Romanian Bar Association since 2013. Prior to joining SAA in 2019, Tudor was an associate for more than 7 years with one of the top law firms in Romania.

  • Advised Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) and its group of companies on the lease of 2,235 sq.m. office premises in America House. 
  • Advised Keys REIM on the sale of an uncompleted building in the historic centre of Bucharest to One United Properties.
  • Advised Indotek Group on the acquisition of One Victoriei Center office building.
  • Advised Element Group on the acquisition of 2,7 hectares land plot at the entrance to Pitesti.
  • Advised Mr. Ionut Negoita on the acquisition of a land plot totaling over 10 ha, located in the East of Bucharest.
  • Advised Bourbon Black Sea on the lease of 800 sq.m. in Pipera Business Tower, a class A office building located on 6E Dimitrie Pompeiu Boulevard.
  • Advised Hagag on the acquisition of the office building in downtown Bucharest.  
  • Advised Bog’Art Residential on the acquisition of a 749 sq.m. land plot, located strategically on Jean Louis Calderon Street.
  • Advised Cordia Residence (Group Futureal) on the acquisition of 21.000 sq. m. land plot in the Grivita Lake area, part of the Bucurestii Noi region of Bucharest.
  • Advised World Class Romania on the successful acquisition of Planet Swim & Gym.
  • Advised Societe Generale through its service center subsidiary, Societe Generale European Business Services on the lease of 10,500 sq.m. in the third building of Skanska’s Campus 6 development.
  • Advised London Partners on the acquisition of a plot with an approximate area of 29,000 sq.m., located in the Expozitiei Area.
  • *Advised one of CEE’s leading office investors with an estimated EUR 1.8 billion portfolio with admission on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM, and in connection with an IPO to raise funds for the acquisition of a Romanian real estate portfolio valued at  EUR 300 million (including third party pipeline projects).
  • *Advised one of CEE’s leading office investors with due diligence analysis and drafting of the transaction documents for the acquisition of numerous real estate properties, mainly office buildings, in the high-quality office district of  northern Bucharest.
  • *Advised with entry on the Romanian market of an American private equity firm, investing in middle-market companies, through the acquisition of two Romanian agricultural companies owning and operating more than 7,000 hectares of agricultural land.
  • *Carried out extensive due diligence on the real estate assets held by eight Romanian subsidiaries of the world leader in building materials and a major company in cement, aggregates and concrete in connection with the disposal of assets as part of a transaction estimated at EUR 6.5 billion.
  • *Advised with the due diligence analysis and development of the business strategy for a major telecommunications operator in connection with its real estate holdings of over 1,500 properties throughout Romania.
  • *Advised a company within one of the largest Lithuanian groups with due diligence (including ownership title and building planning and permits) and the acquisition of full interest in one of the most famous historical buildings in downtown Bucharest,  now refurbished and currently operating as a luxury hotel.
  • *Advised one of the leading independent mid-market private equity firms in Southern Europe with due diligence covering ownership title, construction and operation and the further acquisition of a hotel in downtown Bucharest.
  • *Advised a full-service real estate developer and manager in CEE in relation to the acquisition of various logistics parks in Romania, located close to Bucharest.
  • *Advised a major real estate developer with the due diligence and acquisition of a property for the further development of a high end residential compound in central Bucharest, comprising of over 300 apartments and a retail area.
  • *Advised a large real estate developer with the leasing of a class A office building in one of the most successful retail and office areas in Bucharest.
  • *Advised major developers in relation to office, retail and logistics leasing in Romania.
