With more than 10 years of experience, Marin Balta is a Senior Associate at Stratulat Albulescu, Chisinau office, Republic of Moldova.
Prior to joining us, Marin worked for almost 5 years for one of the most renowned law firms in the Republic of Moldova. His experience is mainly in the areas of finance-banking, tax, corporate and commercial law, labour law, real estate, public procurement and litigation.
During his career, Marin has distinguished himself through his skills in analyzing and evaluating factual and legal issues, identifying key problems and offering legal solutions that meet the needs of clients’ businesses while reducing or even excluding potential risks. Marin has been involved in business acquisitions and reorganizations, real estate project development and financing, privatizations, legal auditing, drafting legal opinions and strategies to minimize financial risks and tax liabilities.
An important aspect of his practice is his involvement in complex litigation proceedings before the courts, where he has distinguished himself through his ability to draft and strategize client defenses, coupled with his ability to successfully represent clients in court.
Another essential aspect adding value to the deliverables offered to clients, is the fact that Marin, in addition to his studies in law, also has studies in the financial-banking field, including several years of experience in this sector. This is an advantage in the projects he is involved in, as he has the ability to understand the economic-financial side of each particular business.
