Associate
Amanda is an Associate within our Commercial and Corporate/ M&A practice areas, having gained experience in international M&A transactions (supporting clients on both buy side and sell side) in various industries, including energy, technology, banking and payments, fintech, gaming, or life sciences. Amanda has experience in handling due diligence exercises, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, as well as taking the lead on completion matters.
Amanda has also acquired extensive experience in corporate matters, from day-to-day assistance to our clients on corporate and commercial matters, to assistance with incorporation, functioning and liquidation of companies. She also advises clients in merger and de-merger projects.
Prior to joining Stratulat Albulescu team, she collaborated with an acclaimed law firm from Bucharest, where she was involved in complex projects on corporate and commercial law, tax, competition law and insolvency procedures.
Amanda graduated from the Faculty of Law, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi and has a Master’s Degree in “Criminal Sciences” from the same faculty. During her studies, Amanda participated in numerous internships, including one at “Martin, Lord & Osman P.A.”, a reputed law firm in New Hampshire, United States of America, which had a significant impact in choosing her lawyer career.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE:
- Advised Walden Group – the European leader in transport in healthcare – on its acquisition of the Romanian target Alex International Transport 94.
- Advised Stera Chemicals, a leader in the distribution of chemical raw materials, on the sale of 70% of their stake in Stera Chemicals to OQEMA Group, one of the ten largest European chemical distributors.
- Advised Rockpool on all Romanian elements of the transaction whereby the latter invested in EC Electronics, an electronics manufacturing service provider for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and product innovators in the UK and Europe
- Advised Indotek Group on the acquisition of One Victoriei Center office building.
- Advised VC Fund GapMinder on a 3M EUR Seed funding round in Cyscale software developer.
- Advised Resource Partners on the sale of World Class, the undisputed leader of the fitness industry in Romania, to African Industries Group.
- Advised Metagame Studios and its shareholders on their exit towards global video game developer and publisher Fortis Games.
- Advised Global Resolution Experts (GRX) on the sale of the majority stake to BVB-listed IT&C solutions provider Bittnet Systems.
