The webinar was one step of our continuous efforts to strengthen the education of the young generation not only in the Banking and Financing sector, but also in other sectors of high importance for our firm and also for the global economy, in general.

ELSA Webinars Academy (EWA) on Banking and Finance Law is a 2-week academic course, held from the 13th to the 23rd of April 2021, aiming to inform, teach and challenge law students and young lawyers with interesting subjects from the banking and finance law world. With 4 lectures, 4 workshops and a plenary session, a diverse portfolio of speakers and discussion topics, EWA is the perfect way to improve students’ knowledge about Banking and Finance Law.

Founded in 1981 (with ELSA Romania as a member since 1991), ELSA is an international, apolitical, independent and non-profit association with over 50,000 law students from 44 countries, belonging to over 300 universities. Organized on three levels (international, national and local), ELSA contributes, through the three main departments (Academic Activities, Seminars and Conferences and STEP – Interstellar Exchange Program) to the cultural and professional development of young law students. Whether it involves student exchanges, seminars and conferences or simulated interview competitions, the primary purpose of ELSA is to facilitate the development of young people in the legal system.

Also, ELSA promotes its activities through a helpful organizational structure including through its auxiliary departments (such as Marketing and Human Resources). Students and young lawyers have the opportunity to develop in a professional environment, respecting the rigor of an organization with tradition. At an international level, ELSA maintains relations with various organizations, having in common either the student dimension of their activity or the legal one.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the ELSA Bucharest team for organizing this event!
