Stratulat Albulescu Attorneys at Law announces the appointment of five new Associates to its Corporate, Commercial and M&A, Litigation, Employment, IP and Competition practices. Their recruitment is part of the firm’s ongoing strategy for growth in its core practice areas by recruiting young and dynamic Romanian talent.
Roxana Ioncu (Associate, Corporate/M&A) joined us as an Associate in our Commercial and Corporate Law department, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions and on both national and international transactions, with particular emphasis in the IT field. Prior to joining us, Roxana practised corporate law in one of the largest sanitation companies in Romania, where she acquired and developed her analytical research skills and other professional and interpersonal skills.
Luciana Anghel (Associate, IP/Competition) joined us as an Associate at the beginning of October this year, after being admitted to the Bucharest Bar. She completed a variety of internships during her time at law school, including one with us. These internships enabled her to gain significant experience in a variety of business areas and also in public speaking. She is already an active member of the firm’s competition team assisting national and international clients with competition matters. Luciana is also involved in our intellectual property projects, which include IP registrations for trademarks, designs, models and patents.
Ana-Maria Damian (Associate, Dispute Resolution) joined us as an Associate in our litigation department. She is a young, dedicated, disciplined and ambitious lawyer. She graduated from the University of Bucharest’s Faculty of Law and has a Masters Degree in “Judicial Career”. Prior to joining us, Ana-Maria gained significant experience in central public administration as a counsellor on legal matters for the Romanian Government. She also has experience working in the private sector, offering consultancy services on civil, commercial and corporate law for a group of companies.
Robert-Emanual Popa-Badea (Associate, Dispute Resolution) joined us as an Associate and is an active member of our dispute resolution practice team. Robert graduated from the University of Bucharest’s Faculty of Law in the summer of 2019. During his studies, he participated in 2 editions of the Hexagon of Law Faculties, an important national contest for the best law universities in Romania. He was involved in an exchange experience at the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca and was an active volunteer in the Law Students Association at the University of Bucharest. Before joining our team, he undertook a series of internships, including an internship with us during the summer of 2018, which he considers to have been decisive in choosing his career in law.
Elena Tanasuc (Associate, Corporate & Commercial, Employment) joined our team as an Associate in autumn 2019. During her legal education, she collaborated with a number of well-known law firms in Bucharest. Her advanced language skills in both English and French not only led to her participating in the international contest “Charles Rousseau”, an International Francophone Competition, but also to teaching in the Educational Centres of the Faculty. Prior to joining us, Elena had been working in the Corporate, Banking & Finance, Employment and Real Estate practice areas, whilst also carrying out legal translations and conducting legal research and some legal drafting of notices and contractual clauses. In 2019, she graduated from the University of Bucharest’s Faculty of Law and, in 2018, she also graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She is currently working towards a Masters Degree in European and International Business Law at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
