Our legal team led by Managing Partner Silviu Stratulat and Partner Cristian Vlaicu advised Asigurarea Romaneasca – Asirom Vienna Insurance Group S.A., member of Vienna Insurance Group, a top Romanian insurance company and a well-known trusted partner on the Romanian insurance market, on all regulatory and contractual matters regarding the acquisition of the entire insurance portfolio of the Romanian branch of AEGON Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A. (Aegon Romania).
Both the supervisory and regulation authority in Poland (KNF) as well as the Romanian financial supervisory authority (ASF) cleared the acquisition as part of the process at the beginning of this year.
