Stratulat Albulescu has advised Avira, a cybersecurity software company headquartered in Germany and with additional offices in the US, China, Romania and Japan, on the acquisition of the award-winning cybersecurity BullGuard.
The market-leading German law firm Poellath was the lead legal adviser to Avira on the deal, while Stratulat Albulescu advised on the Romanian related aspects. Stratulat Albulescu’s team was led by Managing Partner Silviu Stratulat and Partner Cristina Man, both in the dedicated Tech M&A Group. The SAA team also included Partner Andrei Albulescu and Managing Associate Anca Ulea on Employment matters, and Senior Associate Elena Stan on the IP side.
